In partnership with AASERT and the Australian Trauma Education Centre, Refugee Education Australia is bringing together educators and researchers who are committed to embedding trauma-aware approaches across every aspect of their work—from the classroom to the research lab.
Together, we're exploring:
- Trauma-responsive pedagogy and curriculum design
- Assessment approaches that reduce triggering or re-traumatisation
- Ethical research design and data collection with people living in situational vulnerability
- Responsible/ responsive scholarship and publication practices
- Real-world strategies that work in diverse educational contexts
